Early Childhood Services

The Early Childhood Department provides a wide variety of educational and childcare opportunities. Programs inlcude early childhood special education services, state funded preschool and childcare (3-12 years) services, administration of the Napa County Childcare Planning Council and Napa CARES project and training for childcare providers and families.

• Napa County Childcare Planning Council--The Napa County Child Care Planning Council is the Local Child Care Planning Council (LPC) for Napa County. Local Child Care Planning Councils determine local community child care needs, determine priorities for the allocation of Federal Child Care and Development Block Grant funds, and prepare county wide child care plans.
